History
CBI Engineering A/S was founded in 1980 as an engineering company specializing in the Oil Industry. Today the company has become a supplier of equipment, engineering services and consultancy for the Oil Industry.The product range covers equipment and engineered products for environmental protection and cost optimization for the customer.
In 1993 CBI developed the first Automatic Fuel-Blending system for Marine bunkering based on the known and accurate CBI Mechanical Fuel Blender.
The blending system is used by Bunker Terminals and Bunker Barges for In-Line Blending to meet MARPOL 73/78 Annex VI continue to meet the increased demand from the industry.
Based on the know-how accumulated through many years of co-operation with the oil industry, CBI has developed a Bunker Identification Concept, which can identify and plan new profitable business for bunker customers.
In 1999 CBI developed Track Collector a spillage environmental protection system for railway customers, who load and unload oil from Rail Tank Cars. Today the 3rd Generation of the protection system is on market, and has been installed with customers around Europe.
